The Game Fair 2024 is just around the corner, and we are busy planning our stand and getting very excited! This fabulous celebration of the British countryside is one of our favourite events of the year and we’re thrilled to be heading back to the beautiful surroundings of Blenheim Palace after several years at Ragley Hall. The Game Fair will take place from Friday the 26th to Sunday the 28th of July and you’ll find us there all three days with oodles of gorgeous clothing and accessories to browse and buy. We’re also bringing our brand new shooting jackets and gilets along and can’t wait to unveil them to you! They’re made from soft, supple leather and designed to add both elegant style and functional substance to your clay and game shooting attire. Make sure you visit us to take a closer look in between fly casting and clay competitions, gundog displays, horses and hounds, shopping and 4x4 driving. Oh, and eating and drinking your way around the amazing array of artisan producers there!
But before we get ahead of ourselves with listing everything you should see and do at The Game Fair, this blog is here to help you get ready and smash it in the style stakes this year. The Game Fair is a chance to dress up and strut your stuff, but as an outdoor event, it's also about being comfortable, able to walk for miles and ready for anything weather-wise. After all, we haven't had a vintage British summer so far… Luckily, we’re here to ensure you look your best for the occasion whatever the forecast on the day. Whether you’re looking for elegant summer dresses or practical yet stylish outerwear, we've curated three outfit ideas from our collection to help you step out in style.
Summer Elegance
If the forecast predicts the weather will be hot and sunny, then our gorgeous new Green Print Bardot Dress should be your go-to choice. It’s available in a midi or maxi length depending on how much leg you fancy showing, and we recommend pairing this dress with some canvas trainers or comfy flats for the perfect floaty, elegant look that captures the essence of summer.
